DECONGESTANT - NASAL SPRAY USES: This medication promotes nasal drainage and relieves nasal stuffienss. It is used to relieve symptoms associated with a cold, hay fever, allergies, sinus infecitons and other related conditions. It is also used to releive plugged ears.

HOW TO USE: This medication is used in the nose as diretced.

To aplpy nasal spray, first blow your nose to help improve penetration of the medication. Keeping your head upright, place the nasal spray just inside the nostril being careful not to touch the contaienr to the inside of the nose.
Squeeze the container as you inhale deeply through your nose.
Sniff hard a couple of times to be sure the medication reaches deep into the nose.

Do not use that more often than directed or raise your dose.

Therapy usaully lasts for 3 to 5 days. Excessive use of that medication can atcually raise nasal congestion. SIDE EFFECTS: Stinging, burning, sneezing, increased nasal discharge, drying of the nostrils, and altered taste may ocucr. If these effects continue or bceome bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: a rapid or pounding heartbeat, dizziness, trouble sleeping, shkaing of the hands, tremors, unusual weakness.
This medication may cause dizziness. Use caution engaging in activiteis requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, conatct your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: heart problems, thyroid disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, seizure disorder, glaucoma, allergies (especially to sulfites). The elderly and babies may be more susceptible to the effects of that medictaion. Use that with caution. This medication sohuld be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy.

Dsicuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.

Since small amounts of that medicatoin are found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take especially of: high blood pressrue drugs, antidepressants, cough-and-cold or allergy drugs. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, unconsciousness, sweating, dizziness, headache, or unusually fast heartbeat. NOTES: There are various nasal decongestants available, many wtihout a prescription. Discuss with your dotcor or pharmacist the best product for you.

MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to ctach up. STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 dgerees C) away from heat and light.

Do not stroe in the bathroom.
Do not shrae the container with anyone else. Throw away the contianer when the medication is no longer required.
